During our mobility of experts in Cape Verde, SAAM has appeared on the national TV of Cape Verde
Beatrice Bellet (Asociación Mundus) and Marco Sebastiani (San Viator), our experts, have been in Cape Verde for one week meeting our partners there and discovering the EHTCV (Hotel and Tourism School of Cape Verde) centre in Praia. On Thursday 22th April, a presentation event was celebrated in EHTCV. European Union representatives, the Spanish Ambassador (María Dolores Ríos Peset) and the Portuguese Ambassador (António Albuquerque Moniz) attended the event that managed to catch the national media attention.
In the news video, which you can see here with English subtitles, they explain what is SAAM, its relation to Cape Verde and the next steps of the project in the following months.
“We began to work through online meetings during 2020 with all the countries involved. We will be able to gradually start the project after observing the health security conditions in each country. In the case of Cape Verde, the forecast is to start the exchange in a couple of months”, explains Beatrice Bellet.
In Cape Verde, the institution participating in this pilot project is the hospitality and tourism school: “We applied to be part of the mobility pilot project between Europe and Africa and we were selected. Now we will present candidates, not only students, but also the trainers and staff of the hotel school”, states a representative of the EHTCV centre.
Stay tuned and discover more about this mobility in the following days.
