First experts on-site travel diary is out!

From the 25th to the 30th of January, the first mobility experts travelled to Africa. Beatrice Bellet and Quique Miana visited the SAAM partner school in Nairobi (Kenya), Don Bosco Boys Town Institute. This school is part of the Don Bosco Tech Africa network.

SAAM is extremely lucky to have a  committed team, but this trip to Kenya showed us that there is nothing like working face-to-face. These were very productive days, with many meetings and outstanding opportunities to explain the project to partners, teachers, staff and students.

Furthermore, Beatrice and Quique visited Don Bosco Tech Africa organization and  this was an excellent opportunity to learn and improve our vision from Europe to most of our partners in Africa.

They also had the chance to meet with the European delegates of the European Commission settled in Nairobi when they could explain the whole SAAM project and its current situation.

Without any doubt, we hope this will be the first of many journeys! The rest of our experts and European peers are eager to pack their bags and visit their African partners.

For the time being, we are delighted to share with you their travel diary which explains all they accomplished there, as well as their impressions. Please, feel free to read it if you want to have a closer look at the details of their stay here.

This publication was produced with the financial support of the European Union, under the Africa-EU partnership. Its contents are the sole responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union
